Terms of use

The service
Tirion provides free EV battery health reports built from the data you enter, curated reference data and anonymised checks from other users. By using the service you agree to these terms.
Reports are estimates
A report is a data driven estimate, not a physical inspection, a professional survey, a valuation or a warranty. Its accuracy depends on the inputs provided and the size of the comparison pool, and the report tells you when data is thin. A report also reflects the readings entered by whoever ran the check; we do not independently verify those readings and are not responsible for their accuracy. If you are considering a car on the strength of a shared report, run your own check with the car in front of you. Do not rely on a report as your only basis for buying, selling or valuing a vehicle; verify the battery’s condition independently before committing money.
Your inputs
Enter data honestly and only for a vehicle you own or are genuinely assessing. False or fabricated readings pollute the comparison pool that every user depends on, and we may remove them and block accounts that submit them.
Share links
Anyone with a report’s link can view that report. Sharing a link is your choice and your responsibility, including the VIN, registration plate and mileage it reveals.
Availability
The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time, and we do not promise the service or any stored report will always be available.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a report, including decisions to buy, sell or value a vehicle, losses caused by inaccurate or dishonest readings supplied by users, or indirect losses.
Our content
The Tirion name, design and report format belong to us. The data you enter remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate the service, including producing the anonymised statistics described in the privacy policy.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Email enquiries@tirionpower.com.
